1. Open the flap of the SoftTouch protective device 2. Place the device between the seat belt and your skin. Make sure the open end of the device is pointing toward your shoulder. Place the recessed underbelly of the SoftTouch over your pacemaker, defibrillator or chemotherapy port. Optional: Place the extra Velcro strips on the seat belt to minimize excess movement; also attach the implant device identifier for EMT alert.

3. Place the seat belt between the Velcro, on top of the pad and the flap.

4. Close the flap, attaching the Velcro of the flap to the Velcro on the pad.
